Kitsap Recovery Center (KRC), located in Port Orchard, offers comprehensive substance abuse treatment services through both inpatient and outpatient programs. As a state-approved facility, KRC adheres to the American Society of Addiction Medicine (ASAM) treatment criteria, ensuring high-quality care for those battling drug and alcohol addiction. The center features 27 inpatient treatment beds and 9 sub-acute detoxification beds, supported by a dedicated team of treatment staff, administrative personnel, and contracted medical and dietary consultants.
KRC primarily serves low-income and Medicaid-eligible clients, providing essential services to around 1,200 adult men and women each year. The center is committed to helping the entire Kitsap County community by offering information, education, and referrals related to chemical dependency.
The services at KRC include a 60-day inpatient treatment program, sub-acute detoxification services with varying lengths of stay, and assessments and referrals through the Department of Social and Health Services (DSHS) for state-sponsored treatment. Additionally, KRC provides case management services and outpatient chemical dependency treatment through the Drug Court program. The center also offers specialized programs for family members of inpatient clients, ensuring a holistic approach to recovery that includes support for loved ones.
