Palouse River Counseling has been a trusted provider of behavioral health services in the Palouse area for over 50 years. As a key part of the local healthcare community, we are dedicated to treating the whole person, not just addressing symptoms. Our multidisciplinary team includes psychologists, counselors, social workers, psychiatrists, and a nurse, all working together to offer a holistic approach to healing. We provide a range of services, including individual therapy, group sessions, and medication management, tailored to meet the unique needs of each patient.

We specialize in treating conditions such as depression, anxiety, alcoholism, and drug dependence. In addition, we develop targeted treatment plans for individuals with developmental disabilities, childhood and family issues, and geriatric concerns. Our commitment to quality care is reflected in our clinical staff, all of whom are registered, licensed, and/or certified by the State of Washington.

At Palouse River Counseling, financial constraints do not stand in the way of receiving care. We operate on a sliding fee scale, ensuring that those who meet 100% or less of the federal poverty level can access our services at no cost.

Our Alcohol & Drug Information School (ADIS) provides education on the physical, mental, and emotional effects of substance use, along with information about DUI laws. These classes are held regularly on Friday evenings and Saturdays.

For those needing more intensive support, our 6-week Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) offers 75 hours of education and therapy focused on dependency and recovery, including a dedicated family weekend to involve loved ones in the healing process.
