Starting on October 1, 2024, DUI School registration is available for those needing to satisfy Florida DUI program requirements. There are two course levels available: Level 1 and Level 2. The Level 1 course is a 12-hour class designed for first-time offenders, covering DUI, DUBAL (Driving with an Unlawful Blood Alcohol Level), refusal, and other related offenses. It includes a psychosocial evaluation to assess potential substance abuse risks, with referrals to licensed treatment programs if necessary. The cost for this course is $346, including all fees approved by the Florida Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles (DHSMV).

Level 2 is a 21-hour course for individuals with multiple offenses, focusing on group instruction and addressing the unique challenges of repeat offenders. This course is mandatory for those with multiple DUI-related arrests or convictions and also includes a psychosocial evaluation with mandatory treatment referrals if needed. The fee for this course is $511.

Both courses require pre-registration, which can be completed online with an additional processing fee. The registration process takes approximately 60-90 minutes, and specific documentation is required, including photo identification, proof of residency, arrest citation, police report, and court documents if applicable. Participants must also provide a recent, official driving record. Payment options include major credit cards and money orders, with no refunds available for paid fees.
