Adult Behavioral Health Services
Communicare has been a trusted provider of adult behavioral health services since 1967, offering a range of outpatient therapy options, including individual, group, and family sessions at various clinic locations. These clinics also provide essential prevention services, substance abuse treatment, psychiatric medication management, and school-based support. Recognizing the detrimental impact of alcohol and drug misuse on health and relationships, Communicare focuses on tailored recovery programs that facilitate a smooth return to normalcy for individuals seeking help.
For those experiencing behavioral health emergencies, the Adult Crisis Stabilization Unit (ACSU) offers 24/7 support as an alternative to hospitalization, guiding individuals through crises and connecting them with community resources. Communicare also provides residential placements for adults with chronic mental illness who can live independently.
The Adult Targeted Case Management program enhances the quality of life for adults facing severe mental health and substance abuse challenges by facilitating access to necessary resources. Additionally, Communicare collaborates with Baptist Health-Hardin to deliver inpatient psychiatric services, recognized for their excellence in care.
