KY Outpatient Therapy

KY Outpatient Therapy

The Kentucky Outpatient Therapy program provides flexible, community-based counseling for individuals working through substance use issues or fulfilling legal or court-mandated treatment requirements. This program is ideal for individuals who do not require inpatient care but still benefit from ongoing clinical support and therapeutic engagement.

Key features of the program include:

  • Weekly individual and/or group therapy sessions
  • Behavioral health support and relapse prevention
  • Treatment planning tailored to individual needs and goals
  • Support for co-occurring mental health concerns
  • Flexible scheduling to accommodate work, school, or family responsibilities

Outpatient Therapy is often recommended following a DUI assessment or as part of a continuum of care, and may be used in conjunction with DUI Education or Intensive Outpatient programs.

Participants work with licensed professionals to build coping strategies, set recovery goals, and strengthen personal accountability. The program is designed to foster long-term behavioral change in a supportive environment.
