At your initial appointment, you will undergo an assessment to evaluate the extent of your challenges and determine the appropriate level of care needed. This assessment is crucial for empowering participants to make informed decisions and prevent further issues. Following the initial assessment, out-patient treatment will include a minimum of three individual counseling sessions. The first session focuses on gathering information to create a personalized treatment plan, while subsequent sessions at the mid-point and upon completion of the program ensure progress is reviewed and necessary adjustments are made.
Group counseling sessions, led by experienced counselors, encourage participants to share insights and identify solutions to their substance-related problems. These groups foster self-examination and provide support for positive behavioral changes. For individuals with DUI convictions, participation in a state-approved DUI program is mandatory to have their driving privileges reinstated. CCC offers the PRIME for Life education program and both group and individual counseling tailored to first-time and repeat offenders.
In addition to counseling services, CCC provides case management under the Affordable Care Act, emphasizing planning and care coordination to enhance overall management of care. Continuous assessment may reveal the need for additional services beyond CCC's offerings, in which case referrals will be provided. Participants may also be encouraged to attend self-help meetings like Alcoholics Anonymous or Narcotics Anonymous to further their understanding of addiction and recovery support options.
