West Kentucky Drug and Alcohol Intervention Services, LLC, is dedicated to providing equal opportunity services to all clients, regardless of age, race, sexual orientation, or economic status. Established in 1991 by Robert Counce, the organization operated until 2013 when it was purchased and renamed West Kentucky Drug and Alcohol Intervention Services, LLC. This transition marked the continuation of one of the state's oldest DUI programs.

Since its inception, the organization has expanded its reach with locations in Benton, Kentucky, and Dresden, Tennessee, enhancing its service offerings to include both oral swab and urine drug screenings. In 2023, an Intensive Outpatient Treatment Program was introduced to better support individuals in recovery. Additionally, West Kentucky Drug and Alcohol has received approval from the Board of Alcohol and Drug Counselors to provide Continuing Education Courses for treatment professionals, demonstrating its commitment to the ongoing development of the field.
