Affiliated Court Services

Affiliated Court Services provides comprehensive Substance Awareness Traffic Offender Programs (SATOP) for adults and adolescents in Columbia and Jefferson City. As a veteran, locally, and family-owned organization, we are committed to helping individuals navigate the process of substance use assessments and education. Our programs include SATOP Screenings, the Level I Offender Education Program (OEP), the Level II Weekend Intervention Program (WIP), and private or independent substance abuse evaluations. To accommodate various schedules, we offer evening and some weekend hours, with virtual SATOP screenings and assessments coming soon.

SATOP follows a structured two-step process, beginning with an Assessment Screening Interview to determine the appropriate level of intervention. This one-hour evaluation costs $375, a fee set by the state, and includes both the agency and Mental Health Earnings Fund fees.

The Level I OEP is a 10-hour educational program conducted over two consecutive evenings, designed to help participants understand the impact of alcohol on driving and decision-making. This program is available in Columbia and Jefferson City for $207, including the required textbook. An online option is also available for those who prefer virtual instruction.

The Level II WIP is an intensive 48-hour program held from Friday evening to Sunday afternoon in a structured setting. It is designed for repeat or high-risk offenders, incorporating education and counseling interventions. The total cost is $481.46, with financial assistance options available.

Additionally, we offer private and independent substance abuse assessments for individuals who need evaluations for employment, legal, or personal reasons.
