Substance Awareness Traffic Offender Programs (SATOP) and Comprehensive Recovery Services
Our Adult Programs are dedicated to serving individuals aged 18 and older, regardless of race, creed, gender, or background, who are diagnosed with a substance use disorder or dependency. With multiple locations across Missouri, including Hayti, West Plains, and Cape Girardeau, we offer a range of evidence-based treatment services designed to meet the unique needs of each participant.
The Stapleton Center in Hayti and Turning Leaf in West Plains both provide comprehensive treatment options, including social detoxification, Level I residential and day treatment, intensive outpatient services, outpatient-supported recovery, and the Substance Awareness Traffic Offender Program (SATOP). SATOP is a specialized program designed to address the unique needs of individuals involved in substance-related traffic offenses, offering education and group discussions that promote recovery and accountability.
Serenity Pointe in Cape Girardeau offers gender-specific services for women aged 18 and older and their children. This facility provides residential, transitional, and outpatient services, ensuring a supportive and nurturing environment for women and families on their recovery journey.
All programs incorporate a combination of group education, group counseling, and community support services tailored to individual recovery care plans. Group education fosters understanding and application of substance awareness, while group counseling provides therapeutic support in smaller, goal-oriented sessions addressing topics like anger management, relapse prevention, trauma, and co-occurring disorders. Care coordinators further enhance recovery by connecting individuals with vital community resources and teaching life skills like budgeting and meal planning.
Whether through SATOP or other services, our programs are committed to empowering individuals to achieve sobriety, sustain recovery, and build independence.
