Door To Hope is a State Certified Substance Awareness Traffic Offenders Program (SATOP) Offender Management Unit serving all Missouri counties and individuals with out-of-state driver’s licenses who are required to complete SATOP due to alcohol or drug-related driving offenses. SATOP provides a comprehensive, community-focused approach to addressing these offenses through a range of programs designed to promote awareness, education, and behavioral change.
As part of the statewide SATOP network, Door To Hope offers several levels of services tailored to meet individual needs. These include an individualized screening and assessment, which is a mandatory first step for all DWI/DUI offenders in Missouri. The Offender Education Program (OEP) is a 10-hour course focused on substance awareness and traffic safety. For more intensive needs, the Weekend Intervention Program (WIP) provides 20 hours of focused education and counseling over a weekend, while the Clinical Intervention Program (CIP) offers 50 hours of outpatient counseling. The Severe Repeat Offender Program (SROP) is a 75-hour outpatient program designed for individuals with significant histories of offenses. Additionally, the Adolescent Diversion Education Program (ADEP) offers a 10-hour educational course for younger offenders.
Door To Hope’s mission is to support individuals in fulfilling their legal obligations while fostering positive change and reducing future alcohol and drug-related incidents. With a certified team and a commitment to providing structured, effective programs, Door To Hope serves as a vital resource for those navigating the SATOP process.
