Mark Twain Behavioral Health (MTBH) is committed to delivering exceptional behavioral healthcare, offering individualized treatment to promote recovery and overall wellness. With a client-centered approach, MTBH provides a range of services to support individuals facing various life challenges, helping them regain stability and lead fulfilling lives.

MTBH operates in three Missouri locations—Hannibal, Kirksville, and Macon—ensuring accessible care for those in need. While the Hannibal and Kirksville offices maintain standard business hours, Monday through Friday from 8 AM to 5 PM, the Macon location offers appointments by request, providing flexibility for clients.

A key program offered by MTBH is the Substance Awareness Traffic Offender Program (SATOP), designed for individuals mandated to complete the program due to alcohol- or drug-related driving offenses. This includes administrative suspensions or revocations for Driving While Intoxicated (DWI) or Driving Under the Influence (DUI), as well as court orders, probation conditions, or plea agreements. The program also applies to individuals charged with Minor in Possession and Zero Tolerance offenses. Under Missouri law, anyone arrested for an alcohol- or drug-related offense must undergo an assessment screening at an Offender Management Unit (OMU). The results determine the appropriate level of SATOP placement, ensuring individuals receive the necessary intervention to support responsible decision-making and reduce the risk of future offenses.

MTBH remains dedicated to guiding individuals through recovery and accountability, helping them regain control of their lives while promoting safer communities.
