The Intoxicated Driver Resource Center (IDRC) in New Jersey provides essential services for individuals convicted of alcohol or drug-related driving offenses. Participation in the Intoxicated Driving Program is mandatory for these individuals, especially first-time offenders, who are required to complete a two-day program consisting of a minimum of six hours of education and evaluation each day. The program offers Spanish language materials and counseling to accommodate non-English speakers.
The IDRC classes are conducted in person at designated locations, including Atlantic Cape Community College in Cape May County, Cumberland County, and Salem County. Participants must pay a fee of $264, which is non-refundable and can only be paid by certified check, money order, or through PayPal. It is crucial that the full name of the student is noted on any payments made by someone other than the student to ensure proper credit is applied.
Attendees must verify their need for the IDRC class prior to making a payment. The program emphasizes accountability and education to help individuals understand the consequences of impaired driving and promote responsible behavior. Additional information regarding class locations and payment methods can be accessed through the IDRC.
