The Delaware County Impaired Driving Program is currently not scheduling any classes. If you need to enroll in an Impaired Driver Program (IDP), please contact your local DMV for information on available classes in your area.
The program aims to educate participants on the impact of substance use on driving abilities, with the goal of preventing future substance-related accidents and arrests. It also seeks to identify individuals who may require further evaluation regarding their substance use behavior and refers them to appropriate services. Through the program, participants are encouraged to change their perceptions of substance use and are informed about the serious consequences of impaired driving. Successful completion of the program’s requirements may lead to the restoration of driving privileges once all conditions are met.
For those in need of further assistance, a list of providers offering clinical screening and assessment services for impaired driving offenders is available.
