The Impaired Driver Program (IDP) is a mandatory class for individuals seeking to obtain a conditional driver’s license following a drinking or drugged driving offense. We are proud to be the only driving school in New York State offering this comprehensive program, which combines state-specific law and traffic safety education with the renowned "Prime For Life" curriculum. This curriculum provides valuable insights into substance use and its impact on driving, aiming to promote safer driving habits.

In addition to classroom instruction, participants are screened, and if necessary, referred for further evaluation and treatment. Our program is designed to deliver engaging, high-quality material in a comfortable and private setting, ensuring a positive and effective learning experience.

Enrollment in the IDP is limited to motorists referred by the New York State Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) or mandated by the court. The program is also available to those looking to satisfy out-of-state DUI arrest requirements. To register, you must sign up through the DMV. If you were convicted of a DUI in another state, you can contact us directly for enrollment.
