North Carolina DWI Programs by City
Find a certified DWI program in your North Carolina city to complete the necessary substance use assessment and educational or treatment programs required for DWI offenses. These programs are designed to help you meet the legal requirements for getting your driver’s license reinstated.
In North Carolina, all DWI offenders must undergo an in-person substance use assessment by an authorized provider. If you are not diagnosed with a substance use disorder, you will be referred to an educational program like ADETS, which uses the PRIME for Life curriculum to reduce the risk of future substance abuse issues. If your BAC was 0.14% or higher or if you refused a breath test, you will be directed to a treatment program with certified counselors.
For those living outside North Carolina, you must still meet North Carolina’s DWI requirements by completing an out-of-state assessment and treatment program, which must be reviewed and approved by a certified North Carolina DWI provider. The provider will then issue a Certificate of Completion to resolve your North Carolina DWI.
