Welcome to Champ's Counseling Center, where our dedicated team of licensed professionals is committed to providing high-quality substance abuse counseling and intervention services. We aim to enhance the lives of our clients and their families, offering a compassionate and supportive environment. As a leading provider of DWI assessments in Alamance County, we ensure that clients receive the necessary evaluations to meet legal requirements and begin their recovery journey.

A Substance Abuse Assessment is mandated for individuals convicted of drug-related offenses, those who test positive while on probation, and various other circumstances involving alcohol or drug use. By enrolling in recommended treatment or education programs before court appearances, clients can improve their legal standing. The state of North Carolina charges a $100 fee for these assessments, valid for six months, and clients who successfully complete any treatment level may continue with free aftercare, depending on availability.

To facilitate the assessment, clients must bring specific documents, including cash for the assessment and urine drug screen fees, along with legal citations. We offer different levels of care based on the assessment results, from short-term treatments to intensive outpatient programs. It is crucial for clients to attend their assessments sober; any influence of alcohol or drugs will prevent the assessment from being conducted. We are here to support individuals in overcoming substance use challenges and achieving lasting recovery.
