Our Services

At Carolina Community Support Services, Inc., we are committed to providing Person-Centered Planning and strengths-based programs for individuals facing mental illness and substance abuse challenges in Durham, North Carolina. Our mission is to offer accessible, affordable, and personalized services tailored to the unique needs of each client. We offer a comprehensive range of services including clinical and psychiatric assessments, outpatient therapy, and medication management, alongside community support for adults over 18.

For children and adolescents aged 20 and under, we provide intensive in-home services and recovery support. Our Substance Abuse Intensive Outpatient Service (SAIOP) is designed to assist both adult and adolescent clients in their recovery journey through structured individual and group activities, ensuring at least three hours of engagement per day, three days a week. This program includes counseling, drug screening, relapse prevention strategies, life skills training, and crisis management.

Recognizing the stigma surrounding mental health and addiction, we strive to create a compassionate and supportive environment for our clients and their loved ones. We also assist the court system by providing anger management counseling and DWI assessments for individuals facing legal challenges related to substance use. At Carolina Community Support Services, Inc., we are dedicated to fostering recovery and resilience in our community, ensuring that those we serve feel understood and supported on their path to healing.
