Project Momentum is committed to ensuring public safety by offering comprehensive DWI substance use assessments in North Carolina. As a licensed provider, we uphold the highest confidentiality standards for all participants. Individuals convicted of a DWI are required to complete a substance abuse assessment, which typically lasts about one hour and can be conducted either in-person with necessary precautions or virtually. The assessment is priced at $100, as mandated by state regulations. Based on the assessment results, we also provide any necessary education and treatment.

In addition to standard assessments, Project Momentum offers out-of-state DWI reviews, with costs varying by case. We also provide Alcohol and Drug Education Training School (ADETS) on a limited, case-by-case basis due to other commitments. As one of only two providers in Edgecombe County offering ADETS, our program meets the requirements set by courts, employers, schools, and probation services. The ADETS course consists of 16 hours of instruction, utilizing the Prime For Life curriculum, which focuses on three key units: Exploring, Reflecting, and Protecting. The total cost for the ADETS program is $185, inclusive of all course materials. We offer flexible scheduling to accommodate the needs of participants.
