Second Chance Prime for Life

No Wrong Door proudly offers the Prime for Life and Prime Solutions programs for inmates at the Macon County Detention Center. These innovative programs focus on providing effective prevention, education, and treatment services designed to address the specific needs of individuals seeking recovery from substance use disorders. Utilizing evidence-based practices (EBP), Prime for Life aims to significantly reduce the risks associated with substance use while fostering sustained remission.

In addition to the core programs, participants have access to a variety of supportive services that enhance their recovery journey. One-on-one support from Peer Support Specialists provides personalized guidance, while drug and alcohol counseling helps individuals confront and manage their substance use challenges. Recovery education groups facilitate shared learning experiences, and resource navigation services assist participants in accessing detox and rehabilitation options.

The programs also feature various wellness initiatives, including the Wellness Recovery Action Plan (WRAP), which empowers individuals to take charge of their recovery, and creative recovery activities like woodworking and walking groups. Special groups such as Sharing Our Stories and the Love & Logic Parenting Class offer additional support and connection among participants. With a holistic approach that integrates education, support, and community involvement, No Wrong Door is dedicated to helping individuals at the Macon County Detention Center reclaim their lives and build a healthier future.
