At Wayah Counseling, we believe in the power of listening, acting, and transforming lives through acceptance and trust. Our mission is to create a safe space where individuals can rediscover the answers that lie within them. Led by Janice Lambert, an experienced LCSW, LCAS, and CCS, our approach is rooted in compassion and empowerment. Janice has a particular passion for facilitating DWI groups and treatment, helping individuals navigate their paths to recovery.

We offer a comprehensive range of DWI services, including ADETS classes, both 20 and 40-hour outpatient programs, out-of-state reviews, and court-ordered assessments. Our therapeutic services encompass a variety of areas such as trauma, substance use disorders, addiction, self-esteem, and codependency. We employ evidence-based approaches including Behavioral Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing, Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT), and Trauma-Informed Care to support our clients effectively.

Outside of work, Janice enjoys hiking and backpacking, finding joy in nature and adventure. As a proud pet owner of three dogs and one cat, she understands the importance of companionship and balance in life. Above all, her children and grandchildren are her greatest treasures, motivating her to make a positive impact in the lives of others.
