If you are facing a Driving While Impaired (DWI) charge in North Carolina, Anuvia offers a range of services to assist you in meeting the state’s requirements. Following a conviction, individuals must undergo a clinical assessment for substance use disorders, which will determine the necessary educational or treatment programs to fulfill probation conditions. The Alcohol and Drug Education Traffic School (ADETS) is generally mandated for first-time offenders with a blood alcohol concentration of 0.14 or lower. This 16-hour program, utilizing the Prime For Life® curriculum, aims to modify high-risk behaviors related to alcohol and drug use.
For those with more serious substance use issues, Anuvia provides short-term outpatient treatment programs, such as STTOP 20 and STTOP 40. STTOP 20 targets mild to moderate issues, while STTOP 40 is designed for individuals showing signs of dependence. These programs offer flexible scheduling and can be completed virtually. If the assessment indicates a severe substance use disorder, intensive outpatient or residential treatment may be recommended.
Anuvia also assists individuals residing outside of North Carolina who need to navigate DWI charges or restore driving privileges. By completing an Out-of-State Transfer Packet, clients can initiate case management services to help retrieve necessary records and demonstrate compliance with DWI programs. With extensive experience in aiding individuals to regain their driving rights, Anuvia is dedicated to providing the support and resources needed to overcome substance use challenges and achieve recovery.
