Comprehensive Mental Health and Substance Use Treatment

East Coast Counseling, Inc. is a premier provider of outpatient mental health and substance use treatment services located in Greenville, NC. Our team of licensed counselors utilizes a variety of evidence-based therapeutic approaches, including Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), and Motivational Interviewing. These methodologies enable us to effectively address a broad spectrum of mental health issues and addiction challenges. We also offer specialized services such as DWI assessments, DWI Groups, Alcohol and Drug Education Traffic School, Substance Use Evaluations, and Anger Assessments.

East Coast Counseling collaborates with prominent organizations, including the NC Board of Nursing, NC Physicians Health Program, and the US Probation Office, to provide comprehensive treatment for both mental health and substance use disorders. Additionally, we offer Substance Abuse Professional (SAP) services for the Department of Transportation and evaluations required by the NC Department of Motor Vehicles.

It's important to note that insurance cannot be billed for DWI and substance use assessments, as these services are considered out-of-pocket expenses. For those attending a DWI assessment, clients should bring the original citation, any paperwork reflecting Blood Alcohol Concentration (BAC), and a current copy of their driving record. Documentation can be provided on the day of the assessment or submitted in advance by an attorney. For convenience, driving records can also be accessed in our office for an additional fee. At East Coast Counseling, we are committed to supporting our clients on their journey to recovery and mental well-being.
