DWI Services Overview

Our DWI Services offer comprehensive support for individuals facing DWI charges, starting with a mandatory substance use assessment. This assessment determines the necessary hours of treatment and education, which must begin within six months. For those enrolled in our Alcohol & Drug Education Training School (ADETS), we utilize the PRIME for Life program. This educational initiative targets individuals with a DWI conviction who may be at risk for substance use disorders, aiming to prevent future alcohol or drug-related issues.

For those requiring treatment, we provide both short-term and longer-term options. Short-term treatment encompasses 20 to 39 hours of group sessions and education over 30 days, suitable for individuals with mild to moderate substance use disorders, particularly those with a blood alcohol concentration (BAC) of .15 or higher or who refused chemical testing at arrest. Conversely, longer-term treatment involves 40 to 89 hours of group sessions and education over 60 days, recommended for individuals with moderate to severe substance use disorders or those with multiple DWI offenses.

For cases indicating a more serious level of addiction, we offer Day Treatment or Intensive Outpatient Treatment. This 90-hour program is spread over 90 days and is designed for individuals who require more structured support due to significant withdrawal risks or unsuccessful outpatient treatment. Our goal is to provide tailored services that promote recovery and help individuals address the challenges associated with DWI offenses.
