DWI & DWLR Services & Assessments

At KBR Counseling, LLC, we offer comprehensive DWI Substance Use Assessments, which consist of a structured interview and questionnaire conducted by a Licensed or Certified Substance Use Counselor. If you’ve been charged with Driving While Licensed Revoked (DWLR) due to a DWI conviction, North Carolina law mandates that you undergo a DWI-type substance abuse assessment at a licensed agency and participate in a treatment program.

To complete your DWI assessment, a state-mandated fee of $100 is required at the time of scheduling. You will also need to provide a NC Driving Record obtained within the last 30 days, which can be accessed online, as well as a Breathalyzer or Blood Draw/BAC results, citation details, any relevant legal documents, and a photo ID. If you lack any of these documents, you may contact your attorney or the Clerk of Courts in your county for assistance.

For those residing outside of North Carolina who have received a DWI, KBR Counseling and Services, PLLC, can facilitate your assessment and required classes or counseling without the need to return to NC, ensuring compliance with state requirements while receiving support locally. Our services include Alcohol Drug Education Traffic School (ADETS), substance use counseling, and both short-term and long-term treatment options.

KBR Counseling, LLC is fully licensed by NC DWI Services, ensuring that your assessment is conducted professionally, confidentially, and efficiently, typically within 24 to 48 hours of your appointment request.
