The Behavioral Health Department is a specialized clinic dedicated to providing culturally and linguistically responsive outpatient mental health and substance misuse services in both English and Spanish. Our mission is to foster a thriving community where all members have the opportunity to achieve self-sufficiency and maintain a high quality of life, especially within underserved and uninsured populations.

Our staff are keenly aware of the broader social and political factors affecting communities of color and use an integrative theoretical framework to address these complexities. This flexible approach incorporates various therapeutic methods, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Feminist and Anti-oppression perspectives, Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing, Motivational Interviewing, Person-centered therapy, Family Systems, Psychodynamic therapy, and Trauma-Informed Care.

We offer Level I and II DUI Education and Therapy for individuals charged with DWAI/DUI, adhering to the requirements set by the Office of Behavioral Health. The program, using The Change Companies’ curricula, provides effective treatment through groups offered in the evening in both English and Spanish, covering Tracks A, B, C, and D.

In addition, Level I Outpatient treatment services are available for those struggling with substance misuse, featuring bilingual individual and group counseling. Our services also include Relapse Prevention and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy groups. We extend our outreach by facilitating prevention groups in high schools across the Denver metropolitan area, ensuring a broad impact on community wellness and prevention.
