At Joseph Stanley Counseling, we offer a range of counseling services designed to meet diverse needs and circumstances, available both in person and via telehealth. Our services include individual and couples counseling, trauma-informed care for PTSD and dissociative disorders, support for relationship issues—including non-traditional relationships—and assistance with general life adjustments. We also provide Emotional Support Animal evaluations, court-ordered mental health and substance abuse evaluations (excluding custody matters), and career counseling. All services are trauma-informed and affirm gender identity, reflecting a holistic and intersectional approach to counseling.

Currently, we accept Colorado Medicaid through Colorado Access and CCHA, and can provide documentation for insurance reimbursement if your plan includes out-of-network benefits. For mandated clients, we accept correctional treatment funding, probation vouchers, and parole treatment funding. We will update our policies on insurance and Medicaid acceptance as needed.

While JSCC no longer provides services for criminal justice-mandated treatment, we still handle civil matters on a case-by-case basis. Our legal and court-referred services include court-ordered or pre-trial mental health and substance use assessments, which can be conducted via telehealth, in-person, or in-custody (with additional travel fees). Diagnostic evaluations for civil and family court matters are also available, although we do not make recommendations on custody or parenting time.
