DWAI/DUI Education

DUI Education in Denver, Colorado

We offer both online and in-person DUI education classes for our clients' convenience. These classes are available in English and are designed to educate participants on the severe consequences of DUI offenses.

Level 1 Classes

  • 12 hours of ADAD-approved DUI classes on alcohol education over a minimum of 2 days.
  • No more than 6 hours of DUI classes can be completed in one calendar day.
  • These classes are typically conducted in an alcohol education group or drunk-driving class.
  • Not appropriate for individuals with more than one impaired driving offense or a high Blood Alcohol Content (BAC).

Level 2 Classes

  • Required for individuals cited for driving under the influence.
  • Classes can range from 5 to 10 months, depending on the track assigned, which is based on the number of driving offenses, BAC, and other clinical indicators.

Track Details:

  • Track A: 42 hours over 21 weeks for first-time offenders with a BAC below 17.
  • Track B: 52 hours over 26 weeks for first-time offenders with a BAC of 17 or above.
  • Track C: 68 hours over 34 weeks for individuals with a prior DWAI/DUI and a BAC below 17.
  • Track D: 86 hours over 43 weeks for individuals with a prior DWAI/DUI and a BAC of 17 or above.
