At Stout Street Foundation, we provide a safe and supportive environment for residents to overcome addiction and thrive in their recovery. Our unique, long-term support model emphasizes relationships, life skills, and deeper healing, ensuring a comprehensive approach to recovery. As a non-profit, self-sustaining organization, we do not rely on municipal, state, or federal funding. Instead, we provide residents with food, lodging, and specific programs and treatments within a structured setting.

Our recovery community uses evidence-based therapy and behavioral modification in a residential setting, helping residents learn self-care, personal accountability, and vocational skills. This approach prepares them to return to the community as productive and responsible citizens. Since 1974, Stout Street Foundation has been a dedicated substance use disorder treatment provider in the Denver Metro Area. From our beginnings in a house on Stout Street in Denver to refurbishing a hotel in Commerce City, we have grown into one of Colorado’s most successful therapeutic communities.
